Brief History of The School

Anglican Girls Grammar School is located along Apo in Gudu District of Abuja. The school is a mission school belonging to the Anglican Communion Diocese of Abuja. The most Rev. P.J. Akinola being the proprietor. The school took off on the 3rd of September, 2001 with a total number of twenty three staff. On the first day of school being 7th of September, 2001, a total number of six students reported as pioneer students. Their names are:

Water supply in the school is constant.Electricity problem is minimal. We have a standby BCJA 250 KVA generating set.


A.G.G.S participated in many competitions at zonal, state and national levels. We have won several laurels in the past: among them are:
